Tasked with concepting smart, connected digital tools for the Chanel in-store beauty experience, we didn't immediately think of an app. Smart tech within the store gathering data on customers' interaction with products, their likes and dislikes, their individual beauty goals and challenges--these were the biggest players in moving the digital strategy forward. The app experience a way for clients & BA's alike to interact and view this information in an elegant and predictive manner.
The app begins with an onboarding experience, inviting clients to begin to make choices about their persona, their style, etc. The next steps allow for selecting consultants, setting an appointment and connecting social accounts. The BA side of the app allows employees access to a complete customer profile, so they may better serve and recommend.
